- Troll shad rap around all rock points 10-15 ft. Along west side from telephone cove Nevada to 7 mile
marker just past high lines. Watch out for large rocks just under the surface. Mornings and evenings.
Took me two years to figure this out, hope this helps somebody. Caught as many as 10 in a day
from 1 lbs. to 5 lbs. Best season is anytime, but spring to first part of summer is best. I\'m always out
there, white deck boat (On-Deck). Happy to help any time.

Crappie Tips for Current Conditions (automated):
Spawning should be in full swing now, but some will still be in a prespawn mode. If you are not catching quality fish on likely spawning cover, back off and target prespawn crappies instead. Spawning takes place on woody cover such as: brush piles, stake beds, etc... in the upper ends of brushy coves and creek arms, in 2 to 8 feet deep, and some as shallow as 6 inches deep depending on the lakes water clarity. Prespawn fish will be in three to six feet of water, but will chase minnows shallower. Tight-lining minnows on long rods is the standard method now, but target-casting grubs and tubes to submerged wood works, too.

Current Lunar Fishing Tip:

The full moon has just past. The gravitational pull is starting to decrease with the moon and sun being on opposite sides of the planet. Watch the peak fishing times and make sure you are on the water during that part of the day to take full advantage of today's solar/lunar peaks. It's always fun trying something new at the peak times to change things up a bit and test out the Lunar Theory each time you hit the water in close to full and full moon situations. Good luck you there.
