Just fished in a tournament out here in November. There were a lot of bass caught. We found a lot of fish deep along rocks or out deep in the grass at 30ft. Check out my blog post for more details with a map of where we fished at what we used: www.krakenbass.com

Water is shallow in most areas. Very warm temperatures occur durring the summer months. Shorelines in the evening are ideal for catching channel catfish. Using shrimp gets good results. There are also smaller bullhead catfish, that will take the line as well. Using bigger bait and bigger hooks will help target bigger catfish. There are alot of carp so using a nightcrawler may land you a carp instead of a catfish... but who cares there huge too! There are a lot of fish in these waters.

Fished the reservoir 4/21/13 from 0730 to 1300. Cool mildly breezy day, air temps mid 40\'s to low 50\'s. Trolled w/ downriggers 30\' down at the bottom of the thermocline. Fast action for the first two hours for fat rainbows and browns in the 16-21\" range. Trolling speed 1.5 - 1.8 mph. Fish seemed spread out rather than grouped. When a school was located, they didn\'t stay in the same place long. Trolling lures over submerged points, Strawberry River channel near other structure worked best. Didn\'t work the shallows this trip because my electric trolling motor is out. Trout fishing was excellent last year, seems to be starting out great this year too. Wish the fish cleaning station was open!

Went fishing January 12, 2013. Fished the south east side and didn\'t get a bite. Didn\'t see any fish on the fish camera (not fish finder). Talked to a guy there, said he got one bite.
