Fished May 1st through May 5th. No good days on the water, many dinks and only a few keepers. The wind was bad most days. Maybe things will pick up en of May. I think the weather is a large factor.

Beat up the walleyes on the east side of the lake wading with creek minnies...bigger the better. 1/8th ounce jig, no twister. Cast out and jigged in. Caught limit from 6-930 PM.

Bass were aggressive yesterday in the flats on silver and white spinnerbaits, between 3pm and 7pm, only bagged 5 but missed another half dozen on poor hook sets, make sure and run a good size trailer. Largest of the bunch was a 6.5 pounder that astonished me. I don\'t get on this lake but 3 times a year cause I have other hot spots in ohio, I will certainly be working this lake a few more times ;-)
