for some 1.5-2 foot plus pickerel and up to 5 lbs bass trolling spinnerbaits just above the weeds around lilly pads works amazingly well

Fished there for several hours this morning, plenty of beautiful spots but
no fish, I saw one small trout and it was barely alive. I wasn\'t aiming for
anything big but still didn\'t even get a bite.

Went to the south end of the lake today and we were quite happy with the
way things went. Weeds are already up pretty high so weedless plastics
were the way to go and they were hitting on the surface. When ever we let
it sink a couple of feet into the pockets we did get hard hits and came up
with empty hooks or a line that was broke or bit off. Guessing that the
muskie and pike are sitting deeper in those pockets
