Mostly slow today bank fishing along the North levee about mid-way down to the hot water outflow. Most of the other fishermen the last few days have had the same slow results. The weather has been warmer than normal, possibly affecting the migration to warmer parts of the lake during the winter.

12/30/2012 - Spent the morning shore fishing for catfish near the water outflow along the North levee. Caught several 8-12 lb Blues on cut Bluegill. Let the under-current move the bait along the bottom. Consistent action all morning. Forgot my bobbers or would have tried drifting, too.

Crappies are very active at Cattail right now. I have been using Fathead minnows with a slip bobber. You have to get right in the brush piles to get them this way though. Also been pretty good vertical jigging in the drop offs to deeper water.
