In the colder waters, I have caught trout out here every time out. Range of 16\" across from the Negro Bar dock to 22.5\" under Rainbow Bridge. Caught limit on May 5 trollin\' in my little inflatable with a rod out each side and they were hitting everywhere from picnic area to the prison... Now that the water is above 70deg, however, the trout fishing is pretty much over. Looking forward to seeing the smallmouth action out here.

Its on got a 6.5 yesterday 5-11-13 when fighting it to the boat a school followed it to the boat,water temp 74 going back with liver next weekend!

They are starting to spawn now caught some with the tails injured from bedding caught probably 15 yesterday missed a lot spinnerbaits, grub worms near rocky areas on the north fork, next weekend should be getting to be close to the prime time!

Went back to the same spot on the north fork lots of drift wood coming down carp were rutting up the banks everywhere bass were not easy found caught 3 in 8-9 hours fishing, I\'ve heard the bass are scarce while carp are spawning I\'m gonna give it a couple weeks before I try it agin,good luck & post your trips.

Fishing is slow, but with the right bait and worm colors you will catch a bass here. Ive been catching since 4-1-13. The water temp is just now getting higher, fishing shouldbe good for now on until winter.

On March 30th, Same location as beofre with the 10 pounder we caught on 3-9-13,, I Landed a beauty female large mouth just over 7 lbs.. and several others between 3-4 lbs.. They are on the move for sure.. Love this Lake !!! SunnyWood Slayers

4/6/13. Went fishing from the bank at 5% on Saturday from 8:00AM-12:30pm. I caught one 18 inch 2 pound rainbow trout on pink power eggs. I had many other bites but did not land any others.

Hit the north fork found some smaller males moved up caught 13 8 keepers no big fish yet 4-06-13 hopefully next weekend they will be moving up
