Too Many Carp are starting to infest this lake. I use to fish this lake about
10 -15 years ago, and it was excellent for Walleye. I just got back from a 5
day fishing trip at Castle Rock flowage today. Over fishing, and the vast
abundance of Carp and Bullhead have made it so catching a walleye or northern is
very rare now. If you do happen to catch a Walleye, it will be under 15 inches.
Your better off traveling a little north, to other lakes, for better walleye
fishing.

Don't fish by the playground, go fish by the old dock where they stock the rainbows. The
dock is behind a car body shop. The dock looks super unstable but it is super stable, it
never creaks or cracks. Fish with worms.
