Burke Lake is a planted trout lake..there has not even been bass in it for the last 25 years or so.And walleye have never been in this lake..people often mistake Evergreen res for Burke lake,so when you see a report of other fisherman saying they caught walleye and bass out of Burke, the are talking about Evergreen..usually the samething if they say they used powerbait all day long at Burke and didn\'t get anything..that usually means they fished Evergreen, because Evergreen has a very, very small population of trout and is not worth the effort to trout fish since there are so many other species.Hope I helped, just bothers me when I hear of people from the coast saying things about our lakes that they don\'t know.Thank you.
