12 May - 15 May: One smallmouth bass caught off the docks near the marina.
Bass was released after being reeled-in.

Fishing from the shore/docks and on the lake between 12 May and 15 May, yielded only a few (as many as five in one day) largemouth bass ranging from 10-inches to 17-inches.
One larger, largemouth bass probably has a treble-hook rapala, shallow diver lure lodged in its mouth. If found, remove the lure, use it again and throw back the fish!
All fish catches were \"catch and release.\"

As one of the residents around Sleeter Lake, I can fish on it whenever I
want. Found this past weekend that the Largemouth Bass were biting pretty
aggressively on a standard Texas Rig rubber worm, green in color. Pulled in
6 in about 30 minutes, but they were all small. Had another pole in and
caught a nice size Bluegill off standard nightcrawler.
