Went up the west fork and caught a nice smallmouth on a zara spook. I had another knock it about a foot in the air. After that, went back in spring creek and had two hit a jig. Caught a kentucky with a paca craw after that.

Some fladhead are being caught by bouncing live bait off the bottom near bluffs but the oxygen level is making it hard to keep bait live.

All catfish seem to be in hiding. Oxygen levels are very low. Live bait only lives a very short time if fished on the bottom. Live bream, sunfish etc will not stay alive longer than 5 minutes if fished on bottom as bait. 7-19-10
