Anybody who says the fish in attwood is unsafe is an idiot. I have been eating attwood fish for over 50 years and they are safe.

Went fishing on 7/30. Did some shore fishing and caught about a 1/2 dozen hand sized Longear sunfish and 1 bluegill same size in one of the coves in the south east part of lake. Many smaller panfish too. Good day.

As a bank fisher I have noticed a vast population of drum,4 out of 6 fish I catch are drum and the other two bites are turtles. I have fished the same spot now for three years, the first year (2007) I would catch a nice variety from white bass, small mouth, large mouth, perch using night crawlers and minnows. What is up with the turtles and drum?

Bass are feeding continually due to the bait fuss going nuts this time of year. Most blue
gill are to small though if u give it a hard cast you can pass them up and have your bait
will be safe for the larger fish. Catfishing is good this time of year, though I don't
recommend fishing if the moon phase and temperature for that day don't average out to
be at least a 3. Check the weather section of this page for the lake to find that out.

Waded up Anderson's Fork with a buddy. Caught 4 Channel Cats, all in about the 1-3 lbs, 2 Drums, on one about 13" and one 18", 2 White Bass one 10" and one 13", and one small shad and sucker. I have found that during the Spring White Bass spawning, fish up in the rivers with, and I repeat, any basic Rapala lure. Catfish are now at this point on nest and therefore hard to catch. Muskie are the key and future of this lake, and once you catch one, it seems like you automatically figure it out. It's just making that first catch. Ceaser Creek Lake is a lake of knowledge and patience, with a good future of good fishing
