as a long time buckeye fisherman the 4 fish rating totally bogus . business has ruined the lake simply by not installing large culvert to the bridge in stead of the small pipes which impede saugeye access to the confluence on the other side . the plastic barrier installed Ohio department of natural resources just compounds the problem i haven't caught in years . normally I have 15 or twenty

FISHED CLOSE TO BOATHOUSE THIS MORNING, FIRST CAST AROUND 7:45. WITHIN MINUTES I HAD ONE CHUNKY TROUT LANDED. 45 MINUTES LATER I HAD MY LIMIT OF TROUT. ACTION STOPPED AS QUICK AS IT STARTED. FOR THE NEXT HOUR I MANAGED TO CATCH ONE BLUEGILL. SET UP USED WAS ULTRA LIGHT ROD AND REEL WITH 4 # LINE. SMALL PIECE OF NIGHTCRAWLER SUSPENDED 2.5 FEET UNDER BOBBER. CATCH AND RELEASE.

Wind WSW 15 mph. Tough conditions, waves hitting pier but caught 8.5 lbs and 18 inch walleye at dusk and at 8 pm. Guy to the right pulled in limit in 2 hours

Beautiful day, caught a 13" bass and half a dozen crappie keepers. Lots of small stuff, bass, perch, bluegill, crappie, saugeye. Biggest fish was a 20 inch sheephead.

Fishing was fair. Most of the fish were suspended 2' to 3' off bottom in 9' to 13' of water. Crank baits 8/11 divers medium retrieve with pause, very effective. Best color for today ( silver and black).

Water is warm , fished 8 hours today and not a single fish , we tried trolling for 5 hrs , and cast and reel with pure for 2-3 hrs
