Crappie are really turning on Grenada now. Full limit stringers are starting to be taken with some heavy slabs. Fishing deep still and slow. But stick with it and catch some fish.

Water is warming up and the bass and crappie reports are starting to warm up also. Shallow grass and trees are the best spots to find largemouth bass. Spinnerbaits and texas rigged plastics have been reported your best bet. The crappie bite is still slow but turning on a slowly.

"2 and 3 pound male Bass are starting to move into staging areas and a few larger females are starting to be taken. Water temps are approaching 50 and on sunny days you can find shallow sunny flats that approach mid 50 degree water. The crappie bite is good right now as well, although most crappie are still deep."
