I am a guide, Bog Mountain Guide Service, and the largemouth are present and becoming more abundant. Caught first one perhaps three years ago and spent a few fishing days this year specifically assessing distribution, localized population density, and size of fish throughout the lake. Found them everywhere but also located fairly dense population pockets. Caught a 4.1# largemouth but most are in the 9\" - 12\" range. I think they were illegally introduced perhaps 5-6 years ago? but they are clearly there to stay.

The bass are Bitting July 9. I fish close to shore as Smallmouth Bass and the majority of freshwater Bass species are found, close to shore, not in deep water. I was using a silver spoon with a hint of red in the middle to make it look injured. And i just cast and retrieve.
