The fishing has been consistent through the month of March. Our guides have been able to put clients on fish every outing, but having to use a variety of techniques to be successful. The white perch have been spawning over the last 3 weeks but not all at once making the fish more scattered, and more difficult to fill the box. The size of the fish have been exceptionally large as expected for this time of year. If you would are interested in more information or booking a trip visit our website www.lartoguideservice.com

I caught a 12 1/2 lb channel and a 27 1/2 lb Flathead out of cotile last week. I have lived here all my life and i wont fish any other lake even though Cotile is a pain in the tail. I just wish people would STAY OFF MY TROT LINES.....

Larto lake was 3 feet below pool stage last time I post a report. But since then we have had a significant amount of rain and the lake is now about 1 foot above pool stage. The white perch are beginning to move up to spawn but the big females are still suspended out from the banks. Fishing has been good the past week. Over the weekend our guides had 2 very successful trips but fought the wind. The action is heating up and will just get better visit our website to get booking information.

Went Saturday the 28th trolling for some stripers. I heard there is some pretty good action this time of year. We didn\'t have one hit and by 11:00am there were more jet skis, ski boats and other water craft where we couldn\'t even troll, it wasn\'t very excitied but will try one more time later in fall.
