Bass fishing was off and on this past weekend. Best fishing was around 11:00pm using a green and yellow spinner with a white worm tipped in red. Most fish I caught were in the 12 to 16 inch range with 2 over 18. All were released happy and sassy

Crappies are biting in the canal using small mister twisters tipped with minnows or wax
worms. Walleye are also.

Caught a nice 18\' bass in a little bulb surrounded by some muddy ground with little frogs jumping all around. Bit just as soon as I had my worm in the water. 9:45 AM on a cool/nice day

The only thing that is really biting is the catfish and that is right near
the shade of the lake. The best time to go is when the sun is near set and
early morning. Try to stay away from shore unless you want to give your
worms away to the baby fish and the Bluegill.

"Bluegill fishing is slow with only a few being caught on small tube jigs. The one that are caught are good sized. Quickly warming water should improve fishing. Crappie fishing is still slow with only a few crappie being caught on small tube jigs. The water is warming quickly, so the fishing should start to pick up."
