5/18-2010 Sadly it looks like few people use this site because there are no reports except this one. Lake Cachuma Walleye Fishing???? As far as I know there are NO walleye in Lake Cachuma and never have been.. The Trout are getting harder to find because of the current ban on stocking trout in the lake, but crappie fishing is medium to good, and catfish are definitely there to catch. The text on catfish is obviously out of date.

There is only a place for walleye and such because this is a template and will show all the fish that can be caught in a lake like this. The only place you see a comment or a tip is where the poster put cause that is the fish in the lake. good job on the site and keep bringing us the info. thanks

The affects of the moon on freshwater fish and game are at a minimum right now. There will be a new moon coming up here in a few days. The fisherman should never use this as an excuse to not get on the water. The affects of the moon can only enhance the outcome of a day's fishing not decrease potential catch for today. On days without the new or full moon, all other factors including weather, barometric pressure, wind and cloud cover will make up today's equation for success.
