With Torbert Lake at 55 degree water temperature largemouth bass fishing is getting ready to ramp up. The male bass will start moving up from deep water toward spawning coves and the big ones are right behind them. This is a great time to get out on the water and try hitting some deeper primary and secondary points. The female bass will start feeding at this water temperature in preparation for spawn. The male bass may be up shallow especially on sunny afternoons. Fishing sunny spawning grounds that are receiving the warm spring time sun is a great way to get a few largemouth bass in the boat.
