Creve Coeur Lake Largemouth Bass Tips: [ Add Tip ]
- there isn't a ton of cover in the lake other than rocks. there are a few brush piles here and there but not many. rocks are your best best for finding nice bass.

Largemouth Bass Tips for Current Conditions (automated):
Largemouth bass fishing is going to be pretty slow at 83 degree water temperature. Bass will start moving much slower and feeding less aggressively until the water temperature starts to get back down to comfortable levels. When the water temperature is up this high, it's time to get out fishing early and late in the day when the sun is not on the water. When you can get out for the entire day, it's a great time to fish some deeper water. Many large bass are taken this time of year since bass fishermen typically gets out deeper and fish slower with larger baits. Like any other time of year, the slower you fish with bigger baits on the deep drops and river channels, the better chance you have at a lunker. This is a great time to catch a trophy. Good luck out there today!

Creve Coeur Lake Smallmouth Bass Tips: [ Add Tip ]
- I have never seen a Smallie come from this lake nor any Spotted bass. why do they have a rating at all. i have only seen Largemouth bass come from this lake. The lake is too shallow to support any smallies or spots. please put the proper information up for the anglers to know what is actaully in the lake. Largemouth fishing is getting better, and the lake has a good chance for supporting some good fish in the next few years to come. I live right down the street from the lake and have fished it more than most people fish in a year to know how this lake fishes.

thanks,

- the crappie fishing can be really good if you find a nice school. the population isn't huge but it has some really good sized fish. look for small brush piles off the bank.

Crappie Tips for Current Conditions (automated):
Your lake crappie will be much more lethargic in the water temperature. They will be in deeper and cooler water. Crappie will be feeding; however they will not be feeding aggressively unless the other fishing factors are at prime levels. Find some moving water that is clear and you should find some more aggressive fishing.

Creve Coeur Lake Walleye Tips: [ Add Tip ]
- I\'ve never so much as heard a story of an angler catching or seeing a walleye in this lake.
Walleye Tips for Current Conditions (automated):
With the water temperatures up this high, the walleye will really be moving slow and feeding even slower. It will be extremely difficult to stay on fish and catch good numbers. There will be good days that you can find a good pattern and fill the live well up. The good days of walleye fishing will be fewer and farther between until the water temperature gets back down. Good luck.

Creve Coeur Lake Catfish Tips: [ Add Tip ]
- the catfishing is amazing at this lake. there is a very healthy population with some really nice sized fish. just cast out as far off the bank as possible, location doesn't matter too much because the whole lake is sand and mud bottom.

Catfish Tips for Current Conditions (automated):
Unlike most North American fish species, blue catfish, flathead and channel catfish are comfortable when the water temperature is this high. They will be feeding and moving in typical patterns. You will start having a little better luck if you can get to some moving water that is adding a little more oxygen for the baitfish and the catfish will be there also.

Creve Coeur Lake Solar and Lunar Conditions
Current Lunar Fishing Tip:
The crescent moon will have better gravitational pull than a gibbous or half moon. However the affects of the moons gravitational will be decreased since the sun and moon aren't pulling in conjunction with one another. It's time to pay close attention to the other fishing factors in the weather to make the best decision for hitting the water.
