- Caught several bass this week. On Blue Little George. This morning I caught a 4.5
lb beauty below the bridge south of the Arboretum.
Good Luck.
- Catching Big Bass every day. Today 5 pounder. This is a fishing sensation. All along eastern shore of lake, fish texas rigged fluke right along bank in reeds and stickups. Also fish downwind edge of brush clumps for bass chasing minnows.
You can fish either morning or night, but be ready to haul in a 10 lb lunker. They are definitely there if you are ready. Good Luck. Don't give up.

- Continued good fishing. 3 bass today up to 3.5 lbs. Green Pumpkin fluke texas rig preferred bait. Anyone interested in me guiding them can call me at 972-672-0932.
Thanks

View Tip Location on Map- caught 5 bass yesterday of a yellow golden leaf spinner. caught one over 5 pounds in Winfrey cove. caught most of them 5 feet out from the shore in the shrubbery
- The lake today had slightly rising water temps of 65-67 degrees, murky all
around, but fish could be had.
I threw a Little-O (white/drk purple) at them, then changed to a Rapala
that was larger than I wanted to use, but all I had, and landed a 5 lb
lgmouth, then a 3 lb both of which I released. The 5lb was a fem/eggs
and lots of fat.
On 3/13, the water temps were at about 68 degrees or warmer, I hung
into a 12 lb... yes, 12 lb black bass. Another female, probably
carrying 2 lbs of eggs, big black eyes (photo available), she was so
confused for being caught but showed appreciation for being released
by splashing me with a ton of water upon the turn-loose.
Best time for white rock is likely going to be between 6-7 a.m. for
the next day or so, barring any big rains. The water is at a nice
level inside the East Lawther side off Garland Road, but the bait
fish are not very visible yet. Don't expect too much action other
than the average 2 pounder, and fishing tight in to the bank is
going to be your best bet.
White Rock Lake Guide Rosco has fished the lake since the late
40's in the creek area, and since the 1950's in the lake area.
For guide services ask around the lake for him.
View Tip Location on Map- Caught a 13" largemouth yesterday morning between the boathouse on West Lawther and the
footbridge right next to it, but then the wind picked up real hard. The cove on the other side of the
footbridge was chalk full of huge buffalo; I must have seen at least 50 come up out of the water and
flop around on the weedbeds in that cove.
- I stopped by the pier on the west side of the lake this morning, at the corner of W. Lawther Drive and Chapel Hill Road. This pier had caught my attention a few times while driving by because it is completely surrounded by bulrushes. It\'s kind of creepy walking down the pier with tall weeds and all kinds of noisy wildlife on either side of your, but I caught a small largemouth within about one minute, on my third cast, using a spinnerbait (\"sexy shad\" color). I had a few more bites, but I was just stopping by on my way into work and was only able to throw about 10 casts before I had to jump back in the car.
View Tip Location on Map- when the weatther gets hot in the summer like it is now try fishing the rip rap for bass. throw spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, jigs and squarebills. anchor up about 10 yards off the bank and cast towards the shore.
