Grapevine Lake is a Corps of Engineers lake located in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. We offer camping, trails for biking, hiking and equestrian use, water recreation, picnic facilities, pavilions for large gatherings, hunting, and much more. Grapevine Lake is popular for sailboating and windsurfing as well. Rockledge Park offers numerous day use opportunities and Murrell Park offers sites for tent and primitive camping. Grapevine also has two lessee-operated campgrounds, Twin Coves and The Vineyards. Boatramps in Murrell allow for easy access to the water from the north side of the lake.
