- At west bay marina this morning. After 9 oclock there was no action, but from six to 9 the largmouth were very active. Baby bass colored rattle traps and baby blue color rattle traps got the most of the hits.

Largemouth bass fishing is going to be slow with the water temperature at 48 degrees. If you have a chance to get out on the water, you are going to have to fish deep and slow. Jig fishing and Plastic baits may be your best bet this time of year for largemouth bass. You may also try fishing some sinking jerk baits.

killin time down at west bay and started throwin a 1/4 oz rattle trap near the swimming area and
caught two good sized fish in 5 casts. third fish broke my line so i set up with a green rooster tail
and started gettin killer hits but just couldnt set the hook fast enough. even in 2-3 feet of water
theyre biting good in that area.

July 4th Bass were active. We caught 23 bass 6 keepers between 6 to 10:30.Watermelon green with red flake Wacky worm got the most hits.

Went fishing this afternoon, weather was perfect.
sorry to say the fish weren't. I tried north end near Lakeview and south
near twin points. Not even a bite. I think the fish are confused with the
weather fluctuation.
