The two best places to fish at Beltzville are around the dam and in the small creeks running through. I suggest using live baits or berkley gulp worms. Most other lures have little to no results. Tons of panfish and crappie here

I hear there are Musky here, so I\'m sure that\'s what the person meant. Musky
is in the Pike family after all.

I went out my first time here yesterday. I only caught 1 small large mouth
(12in) with a brown plastic worm with gold fleck under a downed tree. Seems
like there is tons of structure, and places where you would expect fish to
be, but nothing. I\'m on a kayak with no fish finder so some advice would be
awesome!

Was fishing last Saturday, caught nothing at all, saw some small bass
6inches or so and a pike. We never seem to find any fish here. If
someone could clue me in on this lake I would sure appreciate it. Fished
here many times hardly catch anything. We strictly catch and release but
I sure would like to catch something so I could release it!! I know
theres got to be fish here, but I certainly can\'t find them. If you can
clue me in email me at jrsmith@ptd.net. Thanks

Was out on 3/25/12 and water temp dropped to 50. Didn't get a bit but saw 4 nice bass in
shallow but they were not on beds and cruising. Were not interested in anything me and partner
threw at them.
