Smallmouth Bass Tips for Current Conditions:
Smallmouth bass fishing is going to be slow with the water temperature at 48 degrees. It's time to fish deep and slow. Try some deep primary points, drop offs, and old river channels with rocks. Jigs, plastics and deep jerk baits will be your best bet to boat a smallmouth.

gets up to apprx.58 degrees the smallies will be up shallow the big uns move up first,
they will be eating red shad lizards on a standup jighead. Largemouths will be crusing the
drops and will hammer suspending jerkbaits, be sure to pause the bait for a few seconds
on the retrieve, and hold on. There he is, its a giant. Tight lines to all, please let the big
