Old Hickory Lake: Besides its many parks and recreation areas, Old Hickory Lake is home to several group camp facilities such as the Boy Scouts? Camp Boell, Lincoya Girl Scout Camp, Fraternal Order of Police Camp for underprivileged children, the Easter Seal Camp, and Ruillman Rehabilitation Center, all of which provide outdoor experiences for thousands of young people each year. Bank fishing areas with accessible fishing piers exist at Rockland, Sanders Ferry, Shutes Branch, and Bledsoe Creek State Park. These piers can be accessed from parking areas via paved paths.
