the location cited on the map was a virtual fish nursery when the Christmas tree enhancement program was in effect. All of the trees have deteriorated now and the location is dead. I have caught and released 10 to 15 2 to 3 lb crappies here along with numerous smaller ones in a day's fishing. This location needs to be restored as it is one of the best locations on the Lake. The long string of trees at about 40 ft was always alive with bait fish, small mouth bass, large mouth bass crappies, and large bluegills. I have pictures of 2-3 lb crappies to back up this claim. Current Lunar Fishing Tip:

The crescent moon will have better gravitational pull than a gibbous or half moon. However the affects of the moons gravitational will be decreased since the sun and moon aren't pulling in conjunction with one another. It's time to pay close attention to the other fishing factors in the weather to make the best decision for hitting the water.
