Lake Tobesofkee Largemouth Bass Tips: [ Add Tip ]
- you should fish a popper or maybe a frog in the early morning while fishing in the early fall. Around noon or so you should go back into pockets on the lake with a lipless crank bait or maybe even a square bill. If nothing hits that then you should use a spinner bait and slow roll it to make it look like shad or minnows. If you focus on those pockets you should get some good bass because the bass tend to drive the bait fish into those pockets to feed and get ready for the winter.
Largemouth Bass Tips for Current Conditions (automated):
66 degrees in in the largemouth bass prime water temperature range and fishing should be good right now. Baitfish are much more active in this water temperature and the largemouth bass will be feeding aggressively throughout the day. This is a great time of year to be on the water.

Crappie Tips for Current Conditions (automated):
Fall Fishing Tip provided by Guide Chatt Martin: One tactic is all you need. Trolling. Get a pink or black colored crankbait that gets down 8-12 feet (I like Bandit 200 and 300 series crankbaits), and put it 80-100 feet behind a boat and drive that boat around in 8-12 feet of water pretty slow. 1.2-1.8 miles per hour seems to be the blessed speed. You will catch crappies, and you'll be surprised how many. This is a great tactic when you don't have a fishfinder.

Current Lunar Fishing Tip:

The crescent moon will have better gravitational pull than a gibbous or half moon. However the affects of the moons gravitational will be decreased since the sun and moon aren't pulling in conjunction with one another. It's time to pay close attention to the other fishing factors in the weather to make the best decision for hitting the water.
