Was an Okay day of fishing. Fish here must be thinking about spawning due to warmer weather because all 3 fish i caught where on beds and i got them to bite by casting a senko and shaking it in the middle of the bed to trigger a strike, i was caught the fish between 1 and 5 pm. Other than sight fishing those 3 i didn\'t get anything else, saw multiple guys catch some trout on powerbait throughout the day, and i also unfortunately saw a guy land a bass and keep it to eat. Please catch and release bass yall, comeon now.

Was a tough day out fishing. Only landed 3 bass all around 12\'. There was a lot of people out bass fishing but not a lot of catching going on. Watched a lot of people using drop shots and wacky rigs with no luck. Caught all 3 and almost a fourth on a 5\' swim bait.

- try using a kosher dill pickle texas rigged on a 5/0 gomakatsu it did wonders for me good luck
Largemouth Bass Tips for Current Conditions (automated):
Largemouth bass fishing is going to be pretty slow at 80 degree water temperature. Bass will start moving much slower and feeding less aggressively until the water temperature starts to get back down to comfortable levels. When the water temperature is up this high, it's time to get out fishing early and late in the day when the sun is not on the water. When you can get out for the entire day, it's a great time to fish some deeper water. Many large bass are taken this time of year since bass fishermen typically gets out deeper and fish slower with larger baits. Like any other time of year, the slower you fish with bigger baits on the deep drops and river channels, the better chance you have at a lunker. This is a great time to catch a trophy. Good luck out there today!

Crappie Tips for Current Conditions (automated):
Your lake crappie will be much more lethargic in the water temperature. They will be in deeper and cooler water. Crappie will be feeding; however they will not be feeding aggressively unless the other fishing factors are at prime levels. Find some moving water that is clear and you should find some more aggressive fishing.

Catfish Tips for Current Conditions (automated):
Unlike most North American fish species, blue catfish, flathead and channel catfish are comfortable when the water temperature is this high. They will be feeding and moving in typical patterns. You will start having a little better luck if you can get to some moving water that is adding a little more oxygen for the baitfish and the catfish will be there also.

Rancho Seco Reservoi Spotted Bass Tips: [ Add Tip ]
- We went to Rancho Seco on Saturday, April 2nd for the annual Trout Derby Day and it was lots of
fun just getting out - we caught (1) 1/2 lb Bass but saw lots of people catching larger Bass - the
Bass were only going for lures - we saw lots of Trout caught and heard they were going for either
Rainbow Power Bait or fly lures - we fished from before sunup to after sunset - had our best luck,
as did others, on the backside or remote parts of the lake with bigger fish getting caught in inlets or
on open lake deep water

Current Lunar Fishing Tip:

New Moon fishing can be at its best. The gravitational pull on the earth is at its peak when the moon and sun are rising and setting at the same time of day. This combination can generate extraordinary fishing opportunities especially if combined with perfect weather variances. The new moon may have the fish extremely aggressive and actively hunting for food. Try fishing a little faster today and with several different baits and techniques. When fish are more aggressive, its always fun to fish a little more aggressive. Watch the peak fishing times and make sure you are on the water during that part of the day to take full advantage of today?s solar/lunar peaks. Have a great day!
