Willow Springs Lake Largemouth Bass Tips: [ Add Tip ]
Largemouth Bass Tips for Current Conditions (automated):
Largemouth bass fishing is in full spawn now the water temperature has climbed up to 65 degrees. The large female bass will be on the beds and holding tight. Spawning bass won't be feeding aggressively at this water temperature but they will be catchable. In addition, all bass don't spawn at the exact same time or water temperature. If you aren't a site fisherman, you should be able to find some larger females and male largemouth on the standard spring patterns. Female bass will really start to slow down on feeding so fishing is going to be slower for a few weeks until they move into active patterns again.

Current Lunar Fishing Tip:

New Moon fishing can be at its best. The gravitational pull on the earth is at its peak when the moon and sun are rising and setting at the same time of day. This combination can generate extraordinary fishing opportunities especially if combined with perfect weather variances. The new moon may have the fish extremely aggressive and actively hunting for food. Try fishing a little faster today and with several different baits and techniques. When fish are more aggressive, its always fun to fish a little more aggressive. Watch the peak fishing times and make sure you are on the water during that part of the day to take full advantage of today?s solar/lunar peaks. Have a great day!
