We fished weekday mornings twice in the last two weeks and caught bass and bluegills on 5 inch unweighted senkos. (Weird to catch two bluegills on a fat plastic!). Also caught one bass on a small top water plug cast into the weeds. Averaged about 1 fish per hour each day. We used no electronics and released all fish. Report by exmusher

From the Boat Shop go straight across the lake till you hit a rock wall, to the left of the Dam. The water is about 30-60 feet deep depending where you anchor. Drop either any kind of trout power bait or even a good old fashioned crawler down. Trout sit about 6 ft off the bottom. Also..... Heavy under currents make it a challenge so good luck!

The fishing is not that great. It is not guaranteed that you will catch a fish. I just went to Parker Lake and caught nothing. But some other people were catching huge rainbow trout of the end of the dock with garlic flavored power bait. Another fellow was catching smallmouth bass with worms. Another young fellow was catching smallmouth bass with grubs. So over all the lake fishing is not to good.

Crappie Tips for Current Conditions (automated):
Fall Fishing Tip provided by Guide Chatt Martin: One tactic is all you need. Trolling. Get a pink or black colored crankbait that gets down 8-12 feet (I like Bandit 200 and 300 series crankbaits), and put it 80-100 feet behind a boat and drive that boat around in 8-12 feet of water pretty slow. 1.2-1.8 miles per hour seems to be the blessed speed. You will catch crappies, and you'll be surprised how many. This is a great tactic when you don't have a fishfinder.

Catfish Tips for Current Conditions (automated):
The catfish family comprises of blue catfish, flathead catfish and channel catfish. Since catfish are warm water fish, they arenít going to be very active in this water temperature. They will still be feeding, but catfish will only be found very deep and feeding very slowly. Your best bet is give some of the more active fish species in your lake a shot until the cats are active again.

- Go over to the cove in Parker, and fish in the early morning. Wait for a trout to jump up. Cast in the area that it jumped. Try to hit it on the head. Use a small red and white striped spoon. This worked for me! I caught 2 1/2 pound rainbow trout.

Current Lunar Fishing Tip:

The crescent moon will have better gravitational pull than a gibbous or half moon. However the affects of the moons gravitational will be decreased since the sun and moon aren't pulling in conjunction with one another. It's time to pay close attention to the other fishing factors in the weather to make the best decision for hitting the water.
