Greers Ferry Lake is widely known as a record-producing fishery. The lake is currently home of the world record walleye (22lb. 11oz.) and state record hybrid, striped bass (27lb. 5 oz.). The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission has stocked almost every game fish native to the state in the lake. The lake supports healthy populations of black bass (largemouth, smallmouth and spotted), bream, crappie, catfish, walleye, white bass and hybrid, striped bass.
