White Bass typically will start spawning when the water starts reaching the mid 50's to lower 60's. White Bass are most active when the water temperatures is between 63deg and 76deg. Above 80deg, the activety starts to decrease. In late fall when the water temp dips below 50 the activety falls off.
Food Source
White Bass main diet sourse comes from small fish such as minnows and shad. They are known for their pack feeding behavior the white bass school will surround a large school of bait fish and feed extremely aggresively until the bait fish move on.
Whites will grow to between 1 and 2 lbs in around 5 years depending on the part of country you're in.
